I have only been going to Katmai Eye And Vision Center for the last couple years. Despite them not offering the convenience of billing your insurance I will continue going there. EVERYONE there is kind, professional, and helpful. You are treated as an individual and not a number. Oh and they are patient too ( I tend to ask too many questions ). I recommend them to everyone, even people who don't need glasses!

Dr. Krompkoff is treating me for rosacea and dry eyes. So far we have done the lipiflow and two IPL treatments with one more IPL to go. The struggle is real when it comes to dry eyes, but after my second IPL treatment I was able to wear my contact lenses again with little to no discomfort ~ happy dance!! My primary eye doctor is in Wasilla and referred me to Katmai specifically for lipiflow/IPL therapy and I can't thank Dr. Krompkoff enough for the excellent care, you're the best!
